Bibi Simrit Kaur

Simrit Kaur started her kirtan journey at the age of 5. She learned her first few compositions from her late grandmother Bibi Ravinder Kaur ji who also instilled a passion and discipline for kirtan in her. She then started learning from Bibi Guneet Kaur ji and has also been blessed to have guidance and teaching from Principal Jaspal Singh ji, Principle Sukhwant Singh ji and Anantvir Singh ji. Along with her brother Sukhmeet Singh, Simrit Kaur comes from a family with great passion for Keertan. Their father Gurmeet Singh is also a Tabla player and teaches in Toronto and her mother, Mandeep Kaur, accompanies her on stage.
